NorCal - CABB 501- CBB Renewal

Note: CABB 101 and CABB 201 are pre-requisites for CABB 501. CABB 501 is available for CBB members only.

CABB is dedicated to providing the best education for business brokers and intermediaries and has developed a wide range of courses on various topics that will help you provide value to your clients and manage your practice. Our educational courses are developed and taught by subject matter experts who are also practitioners.

This course is a review of the techniques that make business brokers successfull but it goes way beyond that. It reinforces the idea that CBB's are the true professionals in our field. Since all attendees are experienced CBB's we encourage all of you to come to the class prepared to participate so we can all benefit from the groups experience. CABB CBB Renewal Course Summary:

1. Updates on CABB forms
     a. Representation Agreements and Addendums
     b. Agency Disclosures
     c. Consulting Agreement
2. Open discussion regarding new legal updates or important topics, such as:
     a. Updates on mandatory sick leave pay
     b. Lease Transfers, dealing with difficult landlords
     c. SBA financing
     d. Others topics we face in our industry
3. Deal case studies. Each participant is asked to bring a verbal or written overview of one or two of their challenging or most interesting, or most complicated deals (successfully closed or
    not) for discussion among all.Be prepared to discuss the issues involved, and how they were remedied.
