We will be having a group discussion on the recently passed federal Brokerage Simplification Act and a brief presentation on Opportunity Zones.

Sixteen years in the making, the Brokerage Simplification Act was signed into law on 3-29-2023. This now sheds new light on whether and how CA DRE licensed business brokers can transact stock sale transfers. We'll open with a brief introduction from each attendee. After our presentations, we'll close the meeting by summarizing the information into a business brokerage "Best Practice".
