Randy founded Synesis Advisors with the intention to bring high-end client focused advisory work to the main street business owner. He has been providing lower/middle market M&A services since 2011, having consulted with hundreds of businesses on their exit plans and leading them through the M&A process. His client centric model focuses on providing an attention to detail and high touch communication that reduces the complications, frustration, and anxiety that a business transaction can bring.
Prior to serving the small business community, Randy spent seven years on Wall Street, most recently as a financial analyst where he researched and valued companies with market capitalizations ranging from $100 million to $1 billion+. He has spent extensive time with C-Level executives discussing business models, growth strategies and assumptions, and valuation methodologies. He has been published extensively providing recommendations for the purchase and sale of these associated businesses.
Randy is a proud member of The Rotary Club of San Francisco, the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), The Council of Business Advisors, and ProVisors. Randy is also a CFA Charterholder.
In his spare time, Randy enjoys running and has completed over fifteen races from the marathon to the 100-mile distance. As a former All-American wrestler, he can be found travelling throughout the state officiating high school wrestling.
