Al founded Exit Strategies Group in 2002 with the idea of helping private business owners exit right and be well rewarded for their years of hard work and investment. Al focuses on selling $2-50 million revenue companies in the services, manufacturing and distribution sectors. He is a respected industry leader who combines 20+ years of dealmaking experience with attention to detail and hard work to get results for clients.
Prior to founding Exit Strategies Al was president of IDC, a $20M manufacturer of robotic devices for industrial automation, which was sold to multi-national Danaher Corp (NYSE: DHR). In his corporate career he made and integrated business acquisitions, developed and launched technology products, formed successful strategic alliances, and built worldwide sales & distribution channels.
Al serves on the board of directions of CABB (California Association of Business Brokers). His industry credentials include Master Merger & Acquisition Intermediary (M&AMI), Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) accreditations. He has a BS degree in engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Golden Gate University. In his free time you'll find Al somewhere outdoors.
