Mary Doyle is a well-rounded business professional with a wide range of experience in several industries, including public accounting and marketing. She also previously owned her own brick and mortar business and brings the benefit of that experience to the table as well.
Mary graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Emphasis in Marketing. She returned to the University a short while later and completed the necessary accounting curriculum to move forward with becoming a Certified Public Accountant. She was did an internship with and was hired by one of the “Big 4” firms and stayed in public accounting for the next four years.
Mary made the decision to transition from public accounting to private industry and went to work as the Accounting Manager of a medium-sized marketing agency in Orange County. She later advanced to a much larger global marketing agency in Los Angeles whose clients included an international fast food chain, international food processing companies and national chain department stores, among others. At this agency she served in the capacities of Senior Operations Manager, Director of Account Services and Senior Director of Finance. Mary also spent a few years working for one of the world’s largest insurance companies where she was AVP, Financial Analysis Manager.
Mary fulfilled the long-held dream of owning her own business when she opened an embroidery and promotional marketing franchise in the Long Beach area. In navigating the franchise agreement, the building lease and in obtaining the necessary financing, she acquired firsthand knowledge of what is involved in buying a business. She also understands the joys and challenges of being one’s own boss and has gone through the experience of putting a business up for sale as well.
As a corporate employee, a business owner and now as a business broker, her number one focus is on client satisfaction and she strives to put her clients’ needs front and center. Having worked in a number of highly sensitive positions she understands the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality in business negotiations. She also knows that proper packaging and marketing are the keys to making a listing stand out.
