My Areas of Focus
I see myself as a professional advisor and my area of focus is to properly package your business for sale, attract multiple qualified offers and help guide the seller through the process of selecting a buyer and structuring a deal. This includes advising on issues and roadblocks that come up during the due diligence process. I work with my client’s attorney and CPA to make sure the deal is documented correctly and to prevent unexpected tax liabilities.
Having been through this process myself, I believe having a trusted advisor who is not emotionally invested in the transaction results in a higher likelihood of completing a transaction with minimal risk for the parties at a higher resulting closing price.
I have extensive knowledge of the software/SaaS business and work with companies between $1m and $10m in revenue. I also work with services oriented firms with at least 20 full-time employees. I do enjoy the variety of working in other industries and look for clients with at least $500k in EBITDA.
I know your business is as important to you as my business was to me. I am an experienced entrepreneur with a passion for B2B businesses.
Prior to joining LINK, I held numerous sales and business development positions within the high technology industry. I have worked with startups and have also successfully negotiated multi-million dollar global deals with large companies such as Microsoft, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.
Prior to becoming a broker, I ran a commercial print brokerage operation focused on business to business catalogs. My team and I grew this business to become the third largest print brokerage in the country. Our customers from the print brokerage crossed many industries but many were involved in
manufacturing or distribution. I made the transition to a business broker after selling my own company.
I have a MBA from New York University in finance and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in economics. I live on the Peninsula with my family and have been living in the SF Bay area since 1996.
