Prior to becoming a business broker, Steve was a professional expert witness in the window and door industry and was retained on hundreds of cases across the country providing expert testimony in the areas of product design, installation, construction defect, personal injury, and property damage.
Earlier in his career, Steve held engineering management positions in the aluminum extrusion and window manufacturing industries, was director of a national certification program for window manufacturers, and also worked in Asia as a facilities manager for an automotive aftermarket manufacturer.
Over a ten-year period, Steve's creative talent and entrepreneurial spirit helped him design and bring his own patented product to market. During that period of time, while evaluating the various directions he could go, including whether to manufacture to sell, grant licensing rights to others, or selling the patent rights to other interested parties, Steve was introduced to and became intrigued by the world of business brokering.
