Prior to sitting for his California Real Estate license, Chris Vogt amassed over forty years of experience in business consulting and commercial real estate. Growing up with entrepreneurial parents who built a commercial real estate business in the agricultural sector was a huge advantage for Chris as he had a front row seat watching his parents negotiate business and real estate transactions. As a college student in Southern California, Chris worked in a marketing capacity for a company that sold pre-development land. Upon graduating from college, Chris went into financial planning where he was licensed as a stock broker and sold real estate syndications and other private placements. Chris graduated from the College for Financial Planning and earned the coveted Certified Financial Planner. CFP, designation. Chris' financial practice areas included Asset Protection, Entity Structuring, Estate Planning, Investments and Taxation.

In 1998, Chris was engaged to complete a forensic accounting project. The engagement evolved into him engineering and executing a hostile takeover in the Silicon Valley in the Fall of 1999. Chris became the company's CFO/COO and eventually the CEO. Part of his responsibilities included managing the company's real properties.

After retiring, Chris desired a post retirement career that would be enjoyable, challenging and utilize the skills he developed over the decades in business. In 2017, he obtained his real estate license and joined eXp Realty.. In 2018, Chris started practicing commercial real estate and launched in 2020 what quickly became the largest commercial team at the brokerage. In 2022, Chris joined eXp Commercial so he could expand his commercial real estate practice and launch into business brokerage as he received multiple business brokerage referrals each month.
