A licensed real estate agent since 2004, and an active member of the California Association of Business Brokers, Ryn Longmaid represents both buyers and sellers in the ownership transfer of restaurants and food service businesses, as well as commercial leasing and real property sales. Adept with liquor license transfers, Ryn represents buyers and sellers secure original ABC licenses as well as purchasing licenses on the open market. As a consultant, she creates personalized and in-depth of business plans used to secure funding, receive landlord approval or to articulate the vision of the venture.
With over 20 years in the food service industry, Ryn was the founding chef/owner of a successful restaurant in Sonoma County and has held many jobs in the culinary industry from personal chef to executive chef. After receiving an MBA in Sustainable Business Management, Ryn taught management courses at the college level and held an adjunct faculty post at The Culinary Institute of America-Greystone in Napa County for several years.
