Phil Holt has been an owner and manager of various business enterprises for more than 40 years. Before becoming a business broker he owned nine other successful businesses in diversified areas including real estate development, commercial diving, construction, wireless communications and management consulting. He has conducted his business operations nationwide in the U.S. and in several foreign countries. Phil clearly understands and has effectively dealt with the challenges of being a business owner, buyer, seller and broker. He is particularly skilled at coming up with innovative and cost-effective solutions to business problems.
Phil earned his MBA degree from San Francisco State University and his BA degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Alaska.
Phil is a former member of the Navy's elite UDT/SEAL Teams and is currently an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the SEAL Team Association.
Phil has worked thousands of hours as a volunteer for various nonprofit organizations and served as a Board officer for several. He ran the operations of a food bank, helped build numerous houses in several states and foreign countries with Habitat for Humanity, served on the American Red Cross Advisory Board and was an IRS-certified income tax preparer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Phil has won several awards for his exceptional community service.
In his spare time Phil enjoys travel, scuba diving, flying and long-distance bicycle touring.
